During a performance of "The Blockade of Boston" for Gen. John Burgoyne, an actor dressed in military garb sounds the alarm that the Americans are staging a raid. Thinking it part of the play, the British ignore the alarm and Maj. Thomas Knowlton's raid is successful at the Battle of Charlestown.
